Estate Residential Lighting Done Right
The Phoenix metro and Scottsdale residential market spans high-end production homes through one of a kind desert estates. Each property has a specific architectural language, a specific landscape, and a specific way the residents actually use the outdoor space. Our job is to design lighting that matches all three.
We work in warm white and amber palettes by default. We use UV rated commercial grade fixtures throughout. We use tile, adobe, and stucco safe mounting on every install. The result reads as quiet and intentional, not loud or seasonal.

Lighting Programs for Desert Homes
Every design is built around the home, the landscape, and how the family actually uses the outdoor space. No two programs are alike.
Architectural Roofline Lighting
Clean parapet, ridge, and eave lighting that defines the home against the desert sky. Tile and stucco safe mounting throughout.
Palm Tree Uplighting
Brass or stainless in-ground fixtures washing mature palms with warm white or soft amber. The single most transformative upgrade most properties can make.
Ramada and Outdoor Kitchen Lighting
Layered light under the ramada, over the bar and dining area, and across the outdoor kitchen. Designed for nightly entertaining use.
Pool Deck and Water Feature Accents
Shielded warm white wash on the pool coping, submersible accents in the water, and discrete deck lighting that does not glare into the water.
Driveway and Approach Lighting
Low voltage path lighting and column accents along the approach. Restrained and intentional, never airport runway style.
Holiday Program Add On
Tasteful warm white and amber holiday lighting layered onto an existing permanent system, or installed as a standalone seasonal program.
What Homeowners Say
"Our patio and pool deck look incredible every evening. The palm uplighting they installed turned an ordinary backyard into the most used room in the house. We use it every night, not just for parties."
"We host outdoor dinners ten months of the year. The permanent lighting on the ramada and around the pool is warm, soft, and exactly the look we wanted. No glare, no harsh blue tones, just elegant ambient light."
"After two seasons of fighting big-box store lights that faded in the sun, we hired Phoenix Lighting Partners. Their lights still look new after a full summer of monsoons. Worth every dollar."
"Holiday accent lighting on our adobe walls without any drilling damage. They used mounting methods that protect the stucco, which other vendors did not even consider."
"We had specific aesthetic requirements: no visible wires, warm color temperature, and clean fixture lines along the architecture. Phoenix Lighting Partners listened and delivered exactly what we wanted."
"The palm tree uplights are stunning. Soft amber wash on the trunks and fronds, very subtle. Our neighbors have started asking who installed them."
"Holiday lighting that does not look gaudy in the desert. Warm white roofline, simple wreath accents, all coordinated. Exactly the look we wanted on a contemporary southwestern home."
"They handled a property in Fountain Hills with a long approach and dramatic mountain views. The lighting frames the view instead of competing with it. That kind of restraint is rare."
"The crew arrived on time, finished a complex install in one day, and cleaned up so well that you could not tell they had been on the property. That is the standard you expect at this price point."
"We tried permanent LED lighting after a recommendation from a neighbor. Two years in, the lights still look brand new and we use them for everything from holidays to weekend dinners. Best home investment we made this year."
Residential Lighting FAQs
- Phoenix gets more than 290 sunny days a year and our UV index runs higher than most of the country. Lights and wire jackets that are not UV rated will yellow, crack, and fail within a single season. Every fixture, lens, and run of low-voltage wire we install is rated for prolonged direct sun. That is why our installs still look correct after multiple summers.
- Monsoon season runs roughly July through September and brings sudden microbursts, dust storms, and heavy rain. We use sealed junction boxes, IP-rated connectors, and stainless or coated fasteners on every install. Mounts are placed to avoid known runoff paths on tile, foam, and parapet roofs. The system is designed to ride out the storms without leaks or loose fittings.
- Yes. Our LED fixtures are rated for ambient temperatures well above the hottest summer day in Phoenix. They draw very little power and produce minimal heat. Many Paradise Valley and Scottsdale clients use the lighting nightly for entertaining throughout the summer.
- Adobe and stucco require specific mounting techniques that do not crack or weaken the finish. We use low-profile clips, structural adhesive systems where appropriate, and tile-safe mounts that hook under barrel and flat tile without drilling. Our crews are trained to install on every common desert architecture type, including parapet roofs, foam roofs, and concrete tile.
- Palm uplighting uses ground or in-ground fixtures aimed up the trunk to wash the trunk texture and the underside of the fronds. We use brass and stainless fixtures with sealed lenses rated for in-ground installs, with low-voltage wire buried below grade. Properly installed, a palm uplight set should run for ten years or more with minimal service.
